Karate
Springbok Karate is now already 20 years old and one of the best.
Classes are conducted by Sensei Konrad Steyn a 4th degree black belt and Sensei Gawie Grobbelaar who is also a 4th degree black belt.
Training is done 5 days a week. Everyday from 16h00 till 19h00. Springbok Karate has also helped created some of the area, the province and the country’s best karateka’s. We are also proud to say that we have a all Africa champ as well.
The sensei’s have very good experience and have trained with many great sensei’s all over the world.

New Project – 16 year long dream coming true!
I started training Karate in 1993 after earning enough pocket money to pay for classes myself. My first Karate suite was a gift from my Sensei. At that time Sempai Charlie van Wyk. In 1996 I was asked to take over the karate club with special permission from the late Sensei Allan Fourie, because I was only a purple belt at the time.
At one point in time I had only 4 students and could not cover the monthly expenses.
We could train in the Hall one day and then not the next. With a Sponsor from Jowells we got a hall to train in at a very special price, but I was still dreaming about my own Dojo!
Now after 16 years we are almost finished with our own Dojo which will be a great comfort zone for everyone who wants to train. We are 2 of the only 4th Dan Japanese graded Sensei’s in the area and have plenty to give to our students.

Senior Classes:
Mondays & Wednesdays 17h00 – 18h30
Junior beginners Classes:
Thuesdays & Thursdays 16h15 – 17h00
Junior Advance Classes:
Thuesdays & Thursdays 17h00 – 18h00
Senior Beginner Classes:
Thuesdays & Thursdays 18h00 – 19h00
Prices:
Yearly Affiliation: R250/student/year
Life Book: R35/student/once off
Karate Suite: R180 – R600 depending on the size
Junior Belt Gradings: R100/Student/Grading
Senior Belt Gradings: R120/Student/Grading
Classes:
Single Student: R450/School Term or R180/Month or R50/Class
Family: R400/Student/School Term or R150/Student/Month or R50/Student/Class
Day Visit Student: R80/Class (Non Members)
