This photograph taken at the Kokerboom Observatory in Springbok through the 12″ Newtonian reflector at around 08:00 the morning on the 4th of June 2009. In this photograph, the sun illuminated Venus from the right hand side above. Therefore the half lit hemisphere on Venus.
Please book with Francois on 072 199 7613 if you want to enjoy our Springbok starry nights through the 12″ telescope with a presentation on the 42″ plasma screen. The sun and eg. Venus and Jupiter can also be observed during the day. Shows every day except Sundays.
